The Khalsa Family Series is one of the most unique Sikh inspired children’s storytelling projects created to date.
More than simply books, each story combines beautifully illustrated storytelling with original music, animation, and immersive experiences designed to help children and families connect with Sikh history, philosophy, and values in a joyful and memorable way.
The series began with The Gurus Song Adventure, followed by Come to See My Guru, and Five Beloved Sikhs, each created to bring Sikh storytelling to life through imagination, emotion, music, and visual experience.
From the very beginning, IM1313 wanted the books to feel special.
From the artwork and storytelling to the premium hardback finishes, soft-touch covers, and high quality illustration and print design, every detail was created to make the experience feel immersive, memorable, and meaningful for children and families.
What began as a passion project has grown into a worldwide success.
The Gurus Song Adventure and its animated companion, The Gurus Song Lullaby, connected with audiences around the world, with the animation reaching over 12 million views online and helping introduce a new generation of children to Sikh inspired storytelling through music and animation.
Today, the Khalsa Family Series has reached families globally through books, songs, animations, and educational storytelling experiences that continue to inspire children around the world.
The first book in the series also received recognition from the BBC, while feedback from parents, teachers, and families continues to remind us why these stories matter so deeply.
Each book also features QR code experiences that transport readers directly into the world of the story through accompanying songs and animations on YouTube, turning every book into a fully immersive multimedia experience for children and families.
