Animation has become a huge part of the IM1313 journey.

What began through books, music, and visual storytelling slowly evolved into bringing Sikh-inspired stories and characters into animation in new and exciting ways.

Projects like The Gurus Song Lullaby became a major part of that journey, reaching over 12 million views online and connecting with families around the world through a new style of Sikh inspired animation.

As the audience continued to grow, so did the ambition behind the work.
Puta Mata Ki Asees marked IM1313’s first major step into cinematic 3D animation, creating a more immersive storytelling experience inspired by the atmosphere, emotion, and spiritual beauty of Sri Harmandir Sahib (The Golden Temple).

For many people, this has also become about representation.

For decades, Sikh characters and stories have rarely been seen in mainstream animation and family entertainment in ways that feel meaningful, relatable, and universal.

At a time where misunderstanding and division continue to grow around the world, storytelling has the power to create understanding and connection between people from different backgrounds.

Today, IM1313 continues to grow through a passionate team of artists, animators, musicians, storytellers, and creatives, including talent that has worked with some of the world’s biggest studios and broadcasters including Disney, Warner Bros, and the BBC.

Now, that journey leads to TEAM LANTERN, the most ambitious and exciting animated world IM1313 has created so far.
